Lessons Merseyside lost

Sunday was a long day. We lost to Everton in a rainy day. The game itself was pleasant to watch a lot better than the Astan Villa one. Again without a class striker on the field the play lacked purpose and cutting edge. Baptista can not make it at Arsenal and Aliadiere is also closer and closer to the exit. The team lacked speed at Goodison Park with Gallas and Gilberto at the back the pace is not there, Diaby, Fab, Baptista are no Vavavoooms. The field was heavy and we could not get our game going though we were still amazing keeping possession and passing the ball.
This season overall is teaching us how much we have been relying on Heny and how much of a big player Van Persie needs to be in order to lead the front as he has to for upcoming seasons.
I believe Baptista will go to Madrid and Reyes sould come back, we will have Bendtner who will have a very big challenge and hopefully one or two big additions in the squad(a Ribery and a goalkeeper would do). Now with Reyes, Ljundberg, Rosicky, Hleb, Ribery(sic) we would have a lot more options wide as the Emirates is quite huge compared to Highbury. Henry, Van Persie,Walcott, Bendtner and hopefully Vela leading the front line we have smart and clinical strikers. I don't quite know what to do with Adebayor. He can be a good option to have but I believe his terrible shot and lack of finishing power may just be too much for us specially now he thinks he is a big player and needs "guarantees" to sign a new contract even though he runs his socks off. Anyway out of Baptista, Aliadiere and Adebayor if only one has to stay he will have to be Ade.
What I don't know is how to deal with the midfield and thank God I am not Arsene Wenger. Diaby and Denilson are really making cases for themselves. Is Gilberto a guaranted starter? Another year for Clichy is very much welcome and hoping for an injury free Eboue the back four picks itself with Clichy-Gallas-Touré-Eboué. Djourou and Big Phil will serve the bench.
